What we process
To generate personal color and style reports, Beauty Log processes photos you upload, which may contain face data, photo type labels, language/region settings, diagnostic job context, report content, generated images, order and entitlement records, login identity, basic device information, and necessary operational logs.
Face data
Beauty Log collects only user-selected photos that may contain the user's face, including one required clear bare front-facing photo and optional 45-degree side or full-body photos if the user chooses to upload them. The app may process visible facial and appearance information in those photos, such as face clarity, face position, lighting, skin tone/undertone, hair color, and visible facial features needed for personal color, makeup, hair color, hairstyle, accessory, and outfit recommendations. Beauty Log does not collect Face ID data, ARKit face geometry, faceprints, biometric templates, persistent facial identifiers, or data used for face recognition, identity verification, authentication, tracking, or matching one person against another.
Photos, reports, and model processing
Original photos, compressed photos, report images, and share images are stored in private object storage. After explicit in-app consent, diagnosis tasks send uploaded photos, photo type labels, language/region settings, and diagnostic job context to the Beauty Log backend and the FatClaw OneAPI model gateway. The gateway may route requests to configured AI model providers, including Alibaba Cloud Qwen, DeepSeek, and OpenAI models, only to read photos and generate the report requested by the user. The default model read URL lifetime is 180 seconds and can be shortened or adjusted server-side.
Third-party services
The service may use Alibaba Cloud OSS, SMS/email services, the FatClaw OneAPI model gateway, configured AI model providers including Alibaba Cloud Qwen, DeepSeek, and OpenAI models, Apple in-app purchase, Android channel billing, Mainland China Android manual activation, and basic operations services. After explicit in-app consent, face data contained in uploaded photos is shared with configured AI model providers through the Beauty Log backend and FatClaw OneAPI model gateway only as needed to generate the report requested by the user. Third parties should process data only as needed for upload, login, payment, model generation, troubleshooting, or compliance. Contacts, social profiles, and Apple payment information are not sent to AI model providers.
Retention and deletion
Uploaded face photos are stored in private object storage and retained while the user account and related photo set or report remain active so the user can view and manage reports. Temporary signed image URLs used for model processing expire by default after 180 seconds. Deleting a report hides the in-app report record and removes related generated report images according to the server deletion policy. Uploaded source photos may remain associated with the account photo set or report history until the user submits an account deletion or deletion request and processing is completed. Account-related photo and report data is deleted after account deletion is processed, except records that must be retained for payment, refund, order receipt, security audit, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
Your choices
You may choose not to upload photos, delete reports, clear local cache, or submit an account deletion request. Records related to payments, refunds, order receipts, and security audits may need to be retained for a period required by law, regulation, or risk control.
